Woman in Red

Raphael Young shoes.
Red is my new obsession color. Wearing this outfit for the Comme des Garcons fall2012 runway show in Paris got Mr Bill Cunningham’s attention. He gave me a nice compliment “perfect styling” after he photographed my look. This was so flattering. He continued: “You should go inside before you will get wet and cold” (because it was about to rain). This is huge because he is a quiet man. It was such a lovely moment that I will adore forever. He is so sweet! I hope the photo turns out to be good enough to be published in his column. In the mean time, it was great to see this look in the New York Times Style streetstyle page, photo submitted by Le look. It was nice what was written with the photo: ‘ The red collar fur that softens the leather look and emphasizes the elegance of the model”

I wore this look again with Christian Louboutin heels to attend a fashion party in Dallas last week. Kristi and Scot Redman who are the greatest photographers, fashion editors for D Magazine, captured my look for their famous StreetSheet, fashion column of D magazine. Their photography is amazing. Thank you both for the two photos below!!

Wearing: Miu Miu collar and handbag, Jean Paul Gaultier turtle neck, Rick Owens jacket, and Comme des Garcons skirt.
Before ending this post, I’d like THANK YOU so much for your love, your support, and your votes!! I’ve made to the TOP 5 of the Hg2 and Style-Passport Stylish City Blogs. We’re now eagerly waiting for the winner to be selected by GQ magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Dylan Jones.
“Fingers crossed” and good luck to me! 😀

Again, THANK YOU for your votes!! I wouldn’t make it to the top 5 without your votes!! My dear readers, I love you!!
Have a wonderful weekend!! xo…Hanh :)

  1. This is amazing!!I saw this in the Times post as well, and smiled! You look lovely, and a compliment from Mr. Cunningham is definitely one to treasure! He's been such a critical part of fashion and its influence.
    Lovely as always.

  2. You look beautiful, I'm not surprised that other people took notice. I'm surprised the skirt is not an Alaia, it's very much his silhouette.

  3. You look beautiful in this A-shape skirt. It fits you perfectly – it accentuates your pretty legs and gives your hips some curves. I like it very much :-)

    Greetings from Warsaw, Poland :-)
