The Magic Blue

I called this Martin Maison Margiela blouse the Magic Blue blouse because when you zip/unzip at its shoulder it becomes a dress/blouse. It’s one of my favorite pieces in my closet. It is a versatile piece that you can wear it with shorts, skinny jeans, its shoulders…That gives you so many different looks. It’s truly an inspirational piece. Wearing it with Forever 21 shorts, Comme des Garcons collar, Sue Gragg ring, Christian Louboutin daffodile, and bracelets were a fun DIY project with my kids.

These pictures were taken months ago, but I didn’t have a chance to share it here.

Island Vibes of Turks and Caicos

Here is a photo diary from the Turks and Caicos. It is a paradise island on the Caribbean. We enjoyed it so much. I love the contrast of the blue and white colors here. So stunning!!

Our kids enjoyed their time with a cousin from California.

They loved to sit in the front of the boat on snorkeling trips. They’re so brave to jump off a 6 yard high diving board from the boat.

The boat captain got some conches and we ate fresh sashimi style as well as ceviche style. It was delicious.

Here are some conches, after they were cleaned. Just beautiful shell!!

Our snorkeling trips through Caicos Dream Tours and Island Vibes Tours. Staying at Grace Bay Club.

Caribbean Fantasy

For the first time, we went on the Fantasy, from the Disney Cruise Line on the Caribbean. The ship is 7 months old. It’s beautiful. There were so many fun, intelligent activities for kids and parents. The Disney company is smart and they know what children and parents like. My family and I enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend it. One of the greatest parts was the Pirate In the Caribbean party, ending with fireworks in the middle of the sea. It was amazing. The ship stopped at St Martin island (owned by Holland and France), St Thomas, St John (USV island), and Castaway Cay (Disney private island in the Bahamas). Here are some random pictures from the cruise:

Island Inspiration

At Turks & Caicos. Wearing: Madewell bikini underneath American Apparel dress (the dress was a gift from my sweet friend, Carlos @cfashionstyle, it’s perfect to wear it as a beach-cover). Balenciaga scarf worn as a head scarf (fold the scarf-about 130cm- in a triangle, wrap around your head, tie it on the side, wrist it, and tie it again when you finish wristing). Cheap sunnies. Random bracelets from Madewell, Gap, Tai, and my kid’s beaded necklace worn as a bracelet.

Life on Deck

Wearing this outfit for a night out with my husband at a fancy restaurant, Remy, on our cruise ship, while the kids were at Kid Club.

I love starfish. They’re colorful, and to me, they’re like shining stars under the sea. Starfish ring (it was from a flea market on the street in Paris), and my drawing of s starfish on my toe nails are a cute touch for my Caribbean trip.

Wearing this Balenciaga scarf as a layer top. I basically fold the scarf in a triangle, wrap it over my shoulders from behind my neck and cross over the front, then around my waist, and tie the two ends together at my lower back. Underneath the scarf was a Forever 21 tank top. There! A new way to wear your big size scarf.

Wearing: Forever 21 tank top, Balenciaga scarf as a layer top, Rick Owens short-long skorts, vintage Persian necklace, flea market starfish ring, Cacharel heel sandals, and sunnies from Urban Outfitters.
