I must admit I am very excited about this post! I mean how many times do i get to use a crown for a fashion spread? When I got to the location of the fashion shoot i noticed a great set of 19th century Chinese doors at the front entrance. I couldn’t imagine a better place to use this Miao crow of the Miao people in China that represents wealth, beauty, and tradition. Here we have Brittany as ‘Modern Day Crown Beauty”. I find it incredible how these people made these beautiful crowns! I find beauty in jewelry from different cultures around the world. It reminds me of a recent post Hanh-Life in Travel did where she wore a vintage Persian necklace and antique Tibetian cuff (to see it here and here). Explore different cultures and take inspiration from them just like Hanh and I have! Here is a sample of the editorial shoot. I hope you like it! – Carlos Alonso @cfashionstyle.

GORGEOUS!
You’re right the crown is an incredible masterpiece. The doors make an amazing backdrop, very complimentary to the beauty of the crown!
Simply speechless. One of the most amazing click of recent times, that have a perfect blend of old and new. Thanks for sharing.
Love it!!!
