Wearing this Balenciaga vest from Spring 2010 RTW collection to honor Nicolas Ghesquière (sad that he officially left the Balenciaga fashion house on Nov 30th, according to WWD). With this collection, he has decided the world has quite enough cocktail wear to be getting along with. ”I wanted to do something urban and graphic in a silhouette that goes back to the women who live in the city wearing Balenciaga clothes”-Nicolas said. The details of every piece are memorable. He’s very good at capturing something rare. Yes, he inspires you, gives you new ideas, makes you passionate for his designs.
This vest, it used materials of leather, silk, plastic, and metal. It’s about 8 pounds and shows the art of craftsmanship that the pictures don’t do it justice. Just incredible!
I styled it with Ann Demeulemeester top, The Row leggings, McQueen boots, Christian Louboutin document holder as a clutch, and bracelets from Hermes, Celine, Rebecca Lankford.
