One Way

I have been busy to post often and hope that you guys are cool with it. It was a chilly day that day. We shot this right before my Vietnam trip in April.

White Dress Attitude

Spring is here. Many of you have thought about floral looks or bright colors. However, my great intention of pairing a long white dress and a touch of black to express my attitude toward early spring.

Wearing: The Row white dress, NhaKhanh thumb hole sheer top, Prada booties, Chanel bag, Ann D belt, ring designed by my little daughter, and cuff bracelet designed by me for The Woods Jewelry exclusively at Forty Five Ten boutique in Dallas.

Poncho Inspiration

Don’t you think this Isabel Marant hooded poncho is kinda Chanel?! That’s why I thought it would be fun to style it with them. The open sides with braided side ties and self-fringe edges give this poncho a fun, flirty element. With the light- weight  virgin-wool blend and its colors: ivory, black and grey, it allows for easy layering/un-layering throughout the seasons. I couldn’t imagine how sexy it would be to style it with shorts and a simple tank or a bralette top.

Wearing: Isabel Marant poncho, Nhakhanh thumb-holed top, Urban Outfitter leggings, Prada booties, Sue Gragg ring, Chanel necklaces and bag.

Bold Plaid

Haha..I love this one-behind the scene, when my little girl was running out of the frame.

I wore this outfit for the shoot with D Magazine “Dallas’ 10 Most Stylish”. The bold plaid print and colors of this Celine coat is such a statement, so I styled the rest of my outfit simple in black and white. Adding bow headband to avoid being conventional and predictable.

Wearing: Celine coat, Zara top and shorts, Lavin heels and jewelry, Fleet Ilya headband, NastyGal clutch.

La Vie en Lanvin

I felt like a glamorous Lanvin lady this look. Should I wear it for Valentine’s day date night?. I love Valentine’s day! I love it…Romantic dinner, lots of love and chocolates, and a romantic movie night.

‘The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in’. Happy Valentine’s day! Lots of big hugs and kisses to all! xo…

Ebony Horses

Chinese New Year is here in a couple day. Chinese New Year is often referred to as the ‘Lunar New Year’. I thought the horses print on this top is suitable, yes perfect, to wear for welcoming Chinese New Year 2014- the year of the Wooden Horse.

Horses are known for being strong-willed and unbridled as well as charming and intelligent. The Horse is self-centered by nature and wants things done his way. He will set out to sway people to his way of thinking. Snapping his fingers and clicking his heels, this trailblazer could talk you into anything once he begins to dish out the charm. People find it hard to resist his positive and self-assured outlook on life.

Wooden Horses are thought to be the most reasonable of the five types of Horses. Wooden Horses are less impatient than their brethren, finding it easier to be self-disciplined and organized, but they are still strong-willed and resist “being dominated”.  They are very happy and active in social settings and are known to be good conversationalists.

Wearing: Forever 21 horses print top, TopShop jacket, Celine skirt and bag, Hermes bracelet, Lanvin necklace, and Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte.

Cool Weather Cool Shorts

How is everyone doing? I’m finally back to posting and sorry for keeping you waiting so long. I shot this look awhile ago and didn’t have a chance to share. Pairing a look with a light sweatshirt, a jacket over shoulders and shorts/mini skirt is the ideal look for a sunny chilly day. It gives us a good reason to be naughty and show some skin. Adding cool shoes calls just enough attention.

Wearing: Forever 21 sweatshirt, Zara skorts, Balenciaga jacket and bag, Alaia shoes, Celine sunnies, Margelia necklace, Hermes ring, and bracelet flea market.

Have a nice day to all!…Hanh.

Linda Farrow Sunglasses

Linda Farrow, my new favorite sunglasses designer. She is an iconic designer, one of the first to treat sunglasses as an essential part of fashion. Iconic gold Linda Farrow aviators were my first pair and I absolutely adore them. When I saw these rose gold cat eye, I went crazy. I love how she mixed the past and present styles for independently envied creations in her design. Yes, wear them for maximum impact even with a simple outfit. They’re a timeless style to treasure for years to come. It’s an investment piece.

Wearing: Forever 21 shirt, Zara skorts, TopShop jacket, Viktor & Rolf booties, Linda Farrow sunnies, Chanel bag, and Bijules rings.

Tear It Up

Hi guys! I finally tried to find my mood to resume my post.

Tear it up or layer it up, I just really like this look- young, energy, and fun.  I felt like this outfit chased my blues away. I recently found this ‘Tear it up’ tank and the sweatshirt from Forever 21. I really love the hem detail and the mix of two fabrics of this sweatshirt, and the graphic of this tank top.  I hope this look inspires you to layer a tank top and a sweatshirt for your warm fall day.

To cheer me up, I made a trip to Sephora with my daughters to update my new make-up supplies. I hope you like my new makeup :)

Wearing: Forever21 tank top and sweatshirt, J Brand leather jeans, Viktor and Rolf booties, Bijules rings, Victorian vintage bracelet, and NastyGal bag.

Opposites Attract

How are you having fun with your looks for this season? Play with your pretty floral mix, spread your feeling in the season’s boldest hues, or make an impact in graphic black and white. I intended to pair this timeless shape and classic black and white graphic print dress with the contemporary feel of this checkmate graphic print clutch giving an unexpected styling and sending a message to avoid being conventional and predictable.

Wearing: Alaia dress (I was so happy to get it on sale for 50% off), Lanvin pumps, Nasty Gal clutch, Lanvin gold necklace styled underneath Beavaldes necklace. Rings from Urban Outfitters, Jennie Kwon Designs.

Wish you all a happy weekend! xo…Hanh :)
