Hi guys! I hope you’re doing well. Sorry for the lack of posting. I had a long journey in Vietnam to take care of both of my sick parents. It was the best I could do to be there with them and give them support, love, caring, and comfort. I’m already back in the US with my girls and my family. My mom is doing better now, but my dad is on and off. We have tried everything for him and he has taken so many different Western and Eastern medicines, but in his case it is not a simple cure. He’s 89 years old, and I don’t know how much longer he’ll be with us. It is painful. I just talked to my mom this morning and he is NOT doing well. I understand that things are sometimes out of your control and we must leave things in God’s hands. My dad is a good man, has a big heart… Yes, he is a tough man.
You always learn something and gain valuable lessons in your life when you go through these things- happy or difficult times. I’ve learned. It’s difficult to resume my blog posts because my mind is with my parents and I worry about them. Last week, I tried to get myself together to have a photoshoot for the blog. But this morning, after hearing my dad is not doing well today, I’m feeling so so sad and off. I want you to understand what is happening to my blog and me.
THANK YOU everyone for your patience and understanding. I’ll try to resume my post regularly. Also, THANK YOU for your love and support! Wishing you days full of love, peace, health and happiness.
My dad and mom were 63 years ago when they just married.
Wearing this Balenciaga vest from Spring 2010 RTW collection to honor Nicolas Ghesquière (sad that he officially left the Balenciaga fashion house on Nov 30th, according to WWD). With this collection, he has decided the world has quite enough cocktail wear to be getting along with. “I wanted to do something urban and graphic in a silhouette that goes back to the women who live in the city wearing Balenciaga clothes”-Nicolas said. The details of every piece are memorable. He’s very good at capturing something rare. Yes, he inspires you, gives you new ideas, makes you passionate for his designs.
This vest, it used materials of leather, silk, plastic, and metal. It’s about 8 pounds and shows the art of craftsmanship that the pictures don’t do it justice. Just incredible!
I styled it with Ann Demeulemeester top, The Row leggings, McQueen boots, Christian Louboutin document holder as a clutch, and bracelets from Hermes, Celine, Rebecca Lankford.

Have a lovely weekend, everyone! xo…Hanh
These pictures were from New York to Paris. I like capturing men’s street style. I love to see men dressing well. Especially, men dressed in colors and with interesting elements. I must say I should give them a bow for their confident. Japanese men’s outfit seems very interesting- very Comme des Garcons, and that gets my attention.
The last two pictures are Guerre, a street style photographer for Marie Claire and his own fashion blog, Guerreims.com. He is the best dressed photographer ever. I love the way he dresses, it’s classic yet modern.

Thank you everyone for visiting! Happy Sunday and a wonderful week ahead! xo…Hanh
Did you find your favorite one from the previous post, part 1? Those shots were outside Viktor & Rolf as well as these shots in this post. It was a fun experience chasing those guys with my high heels, lol! It was the sea of streetstyle photographers, bloggers, and Parisian people who came around and were happy outside the show to enjoy the fashion and the fun… Paris fashion week is marvelous yet chaotic, as always.
Thank you everyone for visiting! Have a wonderful day! xo…Hanh
I was in NYC a few days for fashion week. Couldn’t stay too long not only because my family, my kids need me, but also I will miss them madly. Fashion week in New York was crazy-full of people, cabs, shows, fashion bloggers, street style photographers, press, editors, buyers…all over Lincoln center, Milk Studio, Chelsea Market, Meatpacking District,…I managed to shoot some pictures of street style to share, if you missed last street style post, check it out here. And here are a few more shots. Hope you enjoy! xo…Hanh
What a wonderful summer soirée ! I’d love to say thank you to everyone who came out on June 26th in support of Life-in-Travel! And braved the Dallas heat, that meant a lot to me. Life-in-Travel’s Summer JetSet Must Haves was a hit with such a fashionable crowd. You all looked fabulous. It was very nice seeing you all, and I hope you had as much fun as I did. Thank you to the Joule for the opportunity to host the event, the beautiful setting, and beautiful views! Thank you Neiman Marcus downtown for letting me play with your wardrobe and styling-such amazing looks! Can’t wait to see you at the next one!
Here are some pictures. I’m sorry that many of you don’t have your picture in this post. I wish you all did. Next time then!
Also thank you Patron and Ultimat Vodka for providing drinks! One of the cool things was that the Joule let me (Life-in-Travel) had my own drinks, named by Merriman Wines . Thank you Merriman Wines for coming up with those fabulous names for the drinks, such as ‘Life-in-Cocktails’ and ‘The Jet Setter’.
Here are the looks that I styled for the event. They are available for purchase at Neiman Marcus downtown. You can email Marjon at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
Look 1: Relaxed, elegant, and stylish. It would look great with a pair of flats or wedges for day-time and bootie sandals for the night-time. Alaia v-neck white dress, YsL blue clutch, and random bracelets.
Look 2: Modern Mix. It looks great with a flat sandals for day-time or change it up with a fabulous pair of heels and a sleek clutch for a chic night out. Brunello Cucinelli silk top, Seven lace print jeans, Lanvin necklaces and cuff, Alexander Wang bag.
Look 3: Laces Trend. This evening look is elegant but edgy. Black is classic. It’s great for any city you go to. Oscar de la Renta dress, Lanvin cross necklace, and vintage lace flapper.
