You are in the middle floating peacefully as the river is taking you on your path or journey through life. Along the way you pick up stones and rocks that begin to weigh you down. This is the pain and harm caused towards you throughout life. As you continue to have new experiences that cause you anger, pain, jealousy, etc, you continue to grab more and more stones, weighing you down further. You become consumed by the water, your life is drowning and all you can feel is the pain that is caused by all the stones you have picked up along the way, never realizing that by simply letting go of the stones, you would once again rise to the top and float peacefully down the river through your path with life.”

Have a wonderful day to all! xo…Hanh

Ski Aspen for Spring Break Thu, 20 Mar 2014 03:57:15 +0000 Hanh Life-in-Travel Continue reading ]]>

We had a chance to check out Aspen, Colorado during this spring break. We absolutely love Aspen city and skiing here. The city is more expensive than Vail, Beaver Creek…And Park City, Utah. There are four mountains to ski. Our favorites are Aspen Highlands and Snowmass mountain. Here are some infos to check out:

Aspen Highlands features extreme Colorado steeps. Wide-open runs, breathtaking views, plenty of beginner and intermediate runs. It has been the locals’ favorite for over 50 years. The summit elevation is 12,392 ft/3,768 m, and base elevation is 8,040 ft/2445 m. Longest run is 3.5 miles / 5.6 km.

Snowmass mountain is best known for wide-open, groomed cruising and family-friendly activities. Snowmass has long been rated one of the best family ski areas in North America. It’s located about 9 miles/14km from downtown Aspen. The summit elevation       is 12,510 ft (3,813 m), and base elevation      is 8,104 ft (2,473 m). Skiable area is 3,128 acres (12.66 km²), and longest run 5.3 Miles (8.5 km).

Aspen/Ajex mountain is located above the city of Aspen. The summit elevation is 11,212 ft./3,418 m, and base elevation is 7,945 ft./2,422 m. Skiable area is 673 acres (2.7 km2), and longest run is 3 miles/4.83 km.

Buttermilk is wide-open and gently rolling trails that cater to beginners and families. Summit elevation is 9,900 ft./3,018 m, and base elevation is 7,870 ft./2,399 m. Longest run: 3 miles/4.83 km.

Have a wonderful day ahead to all!…Hanh xx

Poncho Inspiration Sat, 15 Mar 2014 05:28:33 +0000 Hanh Life-in-Travel Continue reading ]]>

Don’t you think this Isabel Marant hooded poncho is kinda Chanel?! That’s why I thought it would be fun to style it with them. The open sides with braided side ties and self-fringe edges give this poncho a fun, flirty element. With the light- weight  virgin-wool blend and its colors: ivory, black and grey, it allows for easy layering/un-layering throughout the seasons. I couldn’t imagine how sexy it would be to style it with shorts and a simple tank or a bralette top.

Wearing: Isabel Marant poncho, Nhakhanh thumb-holed top, Urban Outfitter leggings, Prada booties, Sue Gragg ring, Chanel necklaces and bag.

Have a wonderful day to all!…Hanh.

Bold Plaid Thu, 06 Mar 2014 06:23:06 +0000 Hanh Life-in-Travel Continue reading ]]>

Haha..I love this one-behind the scene, when my little girl was running out of the frame.

I wore this outfit for the shoot with D Magazine “Dallas’ 10 Most Stylish”. The bold plaid print and colors of this Celine coat is such a statement, so I styled the rest of my outfit simple in black and white. Adding bow headband to avoid being conventional and predictable.

Wearing: Celine coat, Zara top and shorts, Lavin heels and jewelry, Fleet Ilya headband, NastyGal clutch.

Styling by me.

Wish you all a lovely day ahead!…Hanh.
